Can't get the photos onto yesterday's post so here is today.
Straight onto the motorway to get down near to Dubrovnik for car return tomorrow. Filled up and found a garden centre ( my favourite places) next door. Bought asparagus seeds for 50p. V. happy, I paid £5 for 9 seeds in uk.
In one corner they had everything a beekeeper's heart could desire.
Glorious mountains again with dramatic weather/ clouds. Smattering of snow in parts.
Made good time so decided to nip over to Mostar for the afternoon. Medugorje on the way, didn't stop to see if the Virgin Mary was around.
Quite emotional in Mostar. Beautiful old buildings destroyed or riddled with holes
A beautiful place, hard to comprehend the horrors suffered there. When I passed someone in the street I kept thinking what they must have gone through.
Now a tourist trap.
