People are so polite, if I'm in the wrong lane or doing something stupid they calmly let me go. Everyone stops for pedestrians which can be a bit nerve wracking because they just step out in the road assuming you have seen them and will stop.
When I keep to the speed limit and there is a long line of traffic behind there is no mad overtaking, (actually it's illegal).
There are so many islands and inlets and coves all along the coast. There is development but not the ugly high rise variety.

I'm not surprised there are so many Brits here, it's so easy; everyone speaks English, signs are in English and you're made so welcome. And, of course, there are all the advantages of being EU.
